8 Course Wine Dinner!! Inspired by the bounties of B.C.
Southlands Farm in partnership with Whole Foods, Albion Fisheries, Trimpac Meats, and Le Veux Pin winery, will be presenting an 8 course BC inspired Menu, paired with wines from Le Veux Pin and sister vineyard La Stella. This dinner will be a true Farm to Fork experience. Ingredients being sourced through local farms and purveyors. With modern food techniques and quality ingredients Chef Kai Leitner plans on delivering a seasonal inspired menu, reflecting the bounty of B.C.s Farmland, Forest, and Sea.
The Dinner will be held in the orchard of one of Vancouver’s last true Urban Farms Southlands Heritage Farm, on August 26, 2018. All Proceeds of this event will be donated to two charities that do amazing work in the Lower Mainland. Sole Food Farm and Growing Chefs. Their mission is to educated children on healthy eating practices and sustainability in day to day food practices. As well empowering those who are less fortunate through farming and the love of quality food.
